Lodging
This event is in prime "leaf peeper" season, the closest thing to a tourist busy season north-central Massachusetts has. There is no obvious candidate for a "event headquarters" motel. Coordinate your preferred lodging with your favorite travel site (travelocity.com, expedia.com, kayak.com, or just a plain old google search).
On-Site Camping
Pearl Hill State Park offers a full-service campground. Registration and booking are directly through the park's concessionaire. Day 2 beginner (White & Yellow) courses will skirt the campground, but competitors that stay in the common-sense bounds of the campground are not in violation of the terrain embargo.
Reservations are required. Toilets and showers are on-site. Cost per site is $17/night for MA residents, $54/night for non-MA residents. This unfriendly non-resident rate is a recent change (COVID) :(
Primitive Group Camping
Due to the routing of some of our competition courses, NEOC has reserved the Pearl Hill Group Campsite. This is a primitive tent-only site with a 300m walk to the normal campground's toilets & shower house. For bona fide groups (Scouts, JROTC, etc) wishing to stay there for a nominal fee, contact the registrar and meet director directly.
