Courses start at Camp Sayre Blue Hills. Beginning adult education will be available.
Youth orienteering Series: Activities will be based at Camp Sayre Blue Hills.The final event in the 2017 Greater Boston Youth Orienteering Series will feature competitive courses with prizes for age-level course winners (details under FAQ Youth tab). Recreational courses (white, yellow) and fun navigation ‘training’ stations will also be available for beginner youth (ages 3-5, 6-9, 10-12, 13+). Refreshments, prizes, and water bottles (for youth who have participated in 4 of the 6 youth series events) will be distributed at ~ 1:30 in the Camp Sayre Blue Hills dining hall. This youth outreach initiative is a joint project of NEOC, CSU, and Navigation Games. Groups must pre-register, contact youth@newenglandorienteering.org.
Traverse: The Blue Hills Traverse will have a mass start at 11:00 AM. Please arrive at Camp Sayre by 10:00 for check-in and travel to the distant start location. The course is 14km long. Anticipated finish time for Traverse runners will be between 12:30 and 2:00 PM. Refreshments will be available at Camp Sayre Dining Hall.

Location: 411 Unquity Rd., Milton, MA. Rt 128 South to Exit 3 North (signs for Houghton's Pond / Ponkapoag Trail) on to Blue Hill River Rd. to the end. Take a right turn on to Hillside St. for .9 mi. Take the left fork on to Unquity Rd. Boy Scout Camp is 1.4 miles on the left.
